Researcher
Gail is a Distinguished Professor and John B Orr Endowed Professor in Environmental Plant Sciences and Chair of the Department of Plant Sciences at the University of California in Davis. Her areas of research and expertise include plant adaptation to the changing environment, particularly high CO2 using naturally high CO2 springs as a proxy for future change, unravelling plastic and adaptive mechanisms using the wide genomics toolbox linked to phenotypic analysis.
