Sarah Kakadellis

Sarah is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of California, Davis. She has worked on a USDA-funded project: Supporting Sustainable and Climate-Resilient Urban Agriculture through the Optimisation of Food Waste-Derived Soil Amendment, an NSF-funded project: Multiscale RECIPES (Resilient, Equitable, and Circular Innovations with Partnership and Education Synergies) for Sustainable Food Systems, and an AIFS-funded project: Digital Atlas for Food and Agriculture By-product Valorisation - determining by-product flows from top food items manufactured in California and linking their chemical composition to commercial value through Natural Language Processing.
