Year 4 Research Project
Understanding and Overcoming Barriers to Trust in AI Technologies in the Food System

>_

Description

Our work identifies key stakeholders and critics of AI technologies, learns their logic and perspectives regarding core problems related to AI and/or the food system, works to understand points of resistance (e.g., hesitation, doubts, or logistical, legal, or ethical barriers to using AI) and relational tension between these groups, and then, finally, seeks to frame the problems from within these groups’ own understanding in order to soften tension, bring them to the table, and build pathways forward.
