This video presentation introduces a basic technical breakdown of how to build Agent-Based Models (ABMs) for food safety. It covers agent construction and how to best represent equipment surfaces, floors and transmission pathways in an ABM, as well as what to consider when adding scheduling data, and other facility-related information. Finally a brief example is shown using a demo facility in NetLogo.
