Year 4 Research Project
Multi-Prong Approach to Achieving Digital Food Safety from Farm to Table

>_

Description

This multidisciplinary project will address four bottlenecks for achieving digital food safety along the farm-to-table supply chain by developing novel algorithms and standards for food safety data, as well as frameworks for accelerating the adoption of privacy and text analytics in digital food safety. These are 1.) Active learning algorithms for optimization of environmental monitoring programs. 2.) Standardized environmental monitoring program data to facilitate data sharing and analysis. 3.) Implement algorithms for privacy-guaranteed data sharing to food safety datasets. 4.) Performance of machine learning for text screening and thematic analysis.
