Steve Brown
Principal Investigator at AIVO
Associate Director of AIFS
With 35 years of experience developing and managing over 250 software projects, Steve serves as AIFS’ project manager and chief of staff. His background of working with AI and other innovative software technology projects for various industry segments including medical, automotive, government and education provides for a foundation to interface with the internal researchers and outward-facing program operations. Steve is PI on additional grants to AIFS including NSF grants for the operation of the AI Institutes Virtual Organization (AIVO) and a Google.org grant to AIVO for AI education. He holds a B.S. and M.S. in Physics and Ph.D. in College Teaching.
